I went into work one day and our manager had left some Sopapilla Cheesecake in the break room for us to try. What’s Sopapilla Cheesecake? A mouthful of deliciousness is what it is! I had to have the recipe and she kindly gave it to me.
I will forewarn you, it is diabetes in a cake lol seriously – mostly sugar. But a treat I can’t refuse and you won’t either. Once I reveal how simple (and cheap!) it was to make, you will have to try it!
Ingredients:
2 packs of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
2 packs of cream cheese
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Directions:
Place 2 packs of cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
Microwave the cream cheese for about 30 seconds to soften it (or you can leave it out at room temperature for about 30 mins)
Pour in 2 cups of sugar with the softened cream cheese
Mix together with an electric mixer
Cream cheese and sugar mixture should become fluffy, like icing
Lightly grease your baking pan with oil or cooking spray
Place one pack of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls flat inside the baking pan
Pour in cream cheese mixture on top and spread to shape
Place the remaining pack of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls on top of the cream cheese
Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on top
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
Enjoy!
